From the Navy to Batesville, IN.

I grew up mostly between Cincinnati and Hamilton Ohio. I joined the Navy in June of 2003 and retired in August of 2023. The first half of my career was an Information Systems Technician. Which basically meant I worked on everything from communications systems to computer networking and computer repair. Along the way I picked up JavaScript and learned to build out advanced spreadsheets in Excel and later became certified.

In 2014, I became a Navy Counselor and moved into Navy Recruiting. That’s where I got into Microsoft SharePoint and ended up building national-level systems for Navy Recruiting Command. I also built out spreadsheets that handled everything from sales tracking to statistical analysis to full-on marketing reporting.

I started messing around with building websites back in 1999 just for myself. During my time in the Navy I’d build small things here and there when needed. In 2017 I built a website from scratch for Navy Recruiters out in the field and it ended up growing into a nonprofit.

Since 2016 most of my focus has been Marketing and Advertising. My responsibilities involved analyzing, designing, and implementing robust marketing plans. I've conducted nationwide training sessions for various Recruiting Commands, specializing in marketing data analysis.

For me this is not just work it’s something I actually enjoy. I like tracking the numbers and building tools that help people solve problems. Now I’m shifting that into my own business. I want to do what I enjoy and help others succeed in the process.

Why Batesville? My wife wanted to come back home after I retired. After 14 years of her support with the demands of the US Navy and my chosen career, I told her the decision was hers. And I couldn’t be happier. Batesville is a fantastic town to finish raising our children.
